Goldsmiths is one of the main breaks on Jersey which works best with an easterly wind and westerly swell. From St Ouens village take the road down a long, big hill. At the
bottom before it turns left, go straigh onto a slip way, where you can
see the beach. There is a carpark on the left. Surf just to the right of the slip.
The Channel Islands have something very thing special: they have the largest
tidal range in Europe and this can be as much as 40ft. Because of this, dozens of quality spots appear when the
condtions are ideal. A pushing tide will dramatically boost the swell.
