Harlyn Bay

Wadebridge, Cornwall

A crescent shaped beach with sand dunes. Spectacular cliff walk leads to Trevose Head with views of Constantine Bay and miles of coastline. The main north facing beach in the area. When everywhere else is blown out on a SW storm, it can be an amazing, clean wave. When its at least 6ft+ at Constantine, Harlyn is about 4ft. The wave can often be quite fast, hollow and barrelling. Closes out at low tide. Mid tide on the push is best. Rips at high. The east end usually picks up the most swell.
