Aberdeen Beach is a 2 mile section from the River Dee North to the River Don. It is part of a beach that continues North to Newburgh Sands. The beach has anti-errosion groynes which go from the shore out to sea that can be a hazard at higher tides. The beach is split into five main surfing areas: Footdee, Life Guards, Leisure Centre, Driving Range and 28′s.
Aberdeen is Scotland’s third largest city, and as such creates the perfect opportunity for combining a surf trip with a shopping/relaxing/sightseeing holiday. Plenty of skateparks and golfing opportunities. You can get cheap accommodation in the Aberdeen Youth Hostel or check the listings on the right for bed and breakfast, hotel and camping options.

Attended the 5 day course. Great tuition by the Smart brothers, friendly and informative and well explained with good time in the water. Recommended for all beginners. Also fab Fish and Chips.
Been to these guys back in April, the place backs right onto the dunes on the beach. Its a tucked in piece of surfing heaven. Slam bang next to the surf school and the beer is cold and the food is great!
They even have their little bistro bar turn into a late night venue on the weekends, I rate this place highly and so will you. Tonnes of parking and a cool, laid back vibe.
Awesome
It's so nice to go to a restaurant of which you have never been before. we haven't had such tasty food out in a long time, and the vegetarian options looked fantastic- the vegetable thai curry, delicious! Great Place.
