Sennen Cove Sennen Cove and Gwenvor, the first beaches from Land’s End are beautiful with clean blue sea, white sand and green rolling hills and cliffs. There isn’t much development which makes it an unspoilt surfing paradise. The two miles of sand of Sennen Cove and Gwenvor scoop up the smallest of swells and have peaks all along the beach.

Sennen Cove is a west-facing beachbreak and works best around mid-tide and it good for all abilities of surfer. Gwenvor beachbreak, at the northern end, is best from low- to mid-tide and can deliver some excellent barrelling waves. To get to Gwenvor, park at Sennen and walk over or park above the cliffs and walk for about 15 minutes. This break gets busy in the summer but is quiet once the families have all left. Quality depends on the sandbanks. Be aware of the rocks and rips to the south of the beach.

Senne Cove village is small but has all you need for a holiday with pubs, cafés and harbour side accomodation. There is a small art gallery in The Round House near the harbour.
